Thentia, a regulatory technology (RegTech) firm that specializes in artificial intelligence (AI), has raised $38 million in a Series B extension round. The funding was led by existing investors including First Ascent Ventures, Spring Mountain Capital, BDC Capital, and Espresso Capital. The funds will be used to scale operations, support accelerated growth, invest in AI, and meet the evolving needs of Thentia’s global client base. Thentia’s end-to-end SaaS ERP platform, Thentia Cloud, digitizes, streamlines, and consolidates regulatory functions within a single cloud-based environment. The platform provides regulators with a comprehensive view of licensee activities and improves their ability to safeguard the public. Thentia plans to use the funding to expand geographically, develop new features, and attract top talent.
