Canada sets Turkiye free: No export controls, drones up for grabs

TLDR: Canada has dropped export controls for Turkiye, including drone technology, according to a notice posted online. The decision comes after Canada suspended drone technology sales to Turkiye in 2020 following reports that Turkish-made drones were used by Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Turkiye’s drone manufacturer Baykar is one of the world’s most successful producer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
