Green Metals: Revolutionizing CO2 reduction in steel, aluminum, nickel production.

Climate change and the need for clean energy and innovation have become urgent issues in today’s world. Albanian Minerals is working on green nickel production and plans to present a groundbreaking achievement in spring 2024. Nickel-containing batteries offer higher energy density, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability, making them essential for the transition to renewable energy and electric vehicles.

ArcelorMittal is also investing in green steel production, with government subsidies and aid from the European Commission. By supporting the steel industry in decarbonizing its processes, the Commission aims to promote sustainability while maintaining global competitiveness.

Overall, these innovative technologies and practices in the metals industry are driving billions of tons of CO2 reduction and paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.
